Client - The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre
Project - Accesibility-compliant website redesign
Requirements overview
- Website redesign
- WAI level 2 compliant
- W3C compliance and multi-platform testing
The Speech, Language and Hearing Centre needed to ensure a wide range of users could access the website, regardless of the device or browser used. It also needed to exceed the minimum legal requirement of matching level 1 of W3C/WCAG guidelines, verified by the former "Bobby" certification. This involved extensive testing through 3rd party certification tools and manual checks.
Benefits: Visually attractive interface which gracefully degrades on limited platforms but ensures access to relevant information.
