We coded the Pirtek site using Microsoft's latest standards based on the .NET 2.0 platform. This allows rapid deployment of complex solutions such as XML processing and SQL database interaction. XML and XSL have been used to separate content from presentation, and XSL allows greater control over templates. It is also fully compliant with the next generation of Microsoft Windows servers.
Additionally, integration with the Google API facilitates for an enhanced search interface for Pirtek's service centres. A live chat application enhances the customer support and development channels.
This platform also allows for multi-language implementations like the Pirtek Germany website.
